Blackvine Volunteer Militia

The Blackvine Volunteer Militia (BVM) was formed several years ago after the reconstruction of Blackvine, a salt and brick town near the oak forests northeast of Iridine. Founder Toshiro Mifune approached the Governor of Blackvine, Secaldercus, about creating a militia, staffed by residents of Iridine, that would be tasked with protecting Blackvine. Since that time, the Blackvine Volunteer Militia has embarked on several important missions, from assaults on the anarchy-reigned neighboring town of Grey Sands, to raids on Cineran camps, to defensive actions against pirates sailing in from the sea.

After some time, Toshiro left the city for his homeland of Altene, allowing Prion Abraxus to become the BVMs next captain. The BVM prospered under Prion, gaining reputability and executing several very dangerous missions. Eventually Prion stepped over to allow Ton Hood to pick up the reigns of the Blackvine Volunteer Militia.
