Reputation

#Franlius

The Town of Franlius is currently under attack by undead soldiers, due to an ongoing storyline run by the Game Masters.

#Earning Reputation

Enemies in Franlius Battleground may carry an armband, signifying their membership in the Cineran (zombie) army. Collecting armbands from the enemies you kill and turning them in to Pretium will earn you reputation relative to the level of armband you acquired. The more difficult the tier you fight in, the higher your reputation reward will be for each armband.

#Hiltha Imports

Hiltha stocks a variety of rare items, which are harder to come by. For more details on the available colors and qualities, consult the Shops page.

Rewards

Due to armbands being the easiest to measure reputation, the below table is measured on combat armband levels. The related tiers (T1, T2…) are described in the Franlius Battlegrounds hunting ground. Armbands from tiers of higher difficulty are worth more reputation.

#Seld

Seld has rep. Purchase from Nominis.

Nominis' Goods (Rewards)

Nominis' stocks a variety of rare items, which are harder to come by. For more details on some of the colors or offered qualities can be found on the Shops page.

Reputation can be earned by handing in bounties(armbands) or mined ore to Salvare.

The following items can be unlocked at Nominis' shop given enough reputation. Generally, the further down the list the item is, the higher your reputation must be to make it available for purchase. Once you purchase an item, your reputation will be reduced by the amount that it took to reveal the item. So if you have just revealed an item and purchase it, your reputation will be reduced back to 0 and building reputation will be required to re-reveal extra items.

Due to armbands being the easiest to measure reputation, the below table is measured on combat armband levels. The related tiers can be found on BHC.

#Neck Guards

*Collum is located in the town of Seld, next door to Concinnant, and for the cost of 1 "neck guard token" will add a neck guard to the metal helmet of your choice, excluding boison (i.e. tin, bronze or iron).

To redeem your token for a neck guard, have your token and helmet in hand. Then, offer your helmet to Collum to get the process started.

Earning Rep

Earning reputation for Nominis' goods can be accomplished in a number of ways. Combat is typically the easiest manner, followed by mining.

#Combat

Each humanoid enemy combatant in the BHC carries an armband, signifying their membership as a Black Hand Cavern bandit. The war hounds also wear dog collars, signifying the same. Collecting armbands & collars from the enemies you kill and turning them in to Salvare will earn you reputation relative to the level of armband you acquired.

There are 3 floors in the BHC and the lower the floor, more difficult the tier you fight in and the higher your reputation reward will be for each armband.

#Mining

Donate mined ore to Salvare for reputation.

#Stromheim

City Entrance

Enough reputation will allow you to enter the city for free.

#Runing (Ghendrahda)

The witch Ghendrahda is located in the Stromheim and if you are in her good favor, she will accept an organic weapon (bone, wood, etc.) from you and apply runes to it. This process will also leave you temporarily weakened. Adding runes will permanently add a quality and/or damage boost to the weapon being runed, and can only be done once to a weapon. With weapon quality word levels spanning a range, adding runes to an existing superior quality weapon will still result in a more beneficial weapon than an excellent quality weapon which results in superior after the process.

This process will add the following detail to the long description of the item:

Tiny ash grey runes have been engraved all along the surface.

Earning Rep

Once you've entered the village of Stromheim, trading fish/pelts/corpses/items with the Stromheim vendors (e.g. Borkos, etc.) will earn you reputation within the village.

Note: Once you've earned a large amount of reputation, the door guard will tell you Ghendrahda wants to talk to you and you will have unlocked Runing.

Examples of items to trade to vendor:

  • Fish exchange
  • Clothing exchange
  • Bronze weapons

#Aralex Eggs

Using your reputation will reduce the overall number of lessons you can learn from him, but does not reduce the rank at which he will teach you.
